Welcome to ISF World School Cross Country Championship 2024.
The International School Sport Federation (ISF) WSC events aim to balance education and sports while promoting fair play, healthy lifestyles, and respect among students.
First held in 1975 at Diekirch, Luxembourg, the event has been hosted in various countries, and this year, it will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, the gateway of champions.
This competition is the path to a promising future for aspiring athletes.
Event Management
Kenya is home to world champions in athletics, who rise to fame by conquering race tracks and challenging tough courses.
Ngong Racecourse, situated in Nairobi, is a popular venue that has hosted numerous National Cross Country Championships and other sports events like horse racing. The racecourse is located within the famous Ngong forest and features natural obstacles ideal for cross-country races.
This racecourse is a fitting venue for young champions to get discovered during the ISF World School Cross Country Championship 2024.

TRAVELING
PORT OF ENTRY
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is the official port of entry.
TRAVELLING
Each participating delegation is responsible for arranging and financing travel to the official ports of entry. Delegations should arrive on the 9th or 10th of May 2024 and depart on the 14th of May 2024 after breakfast.
If delegations wish to extend their stay before or after the event, they must arrange this themselves. The Local Organising Committee is not responsible for extended stays.
PACKAGES FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
ISF will provide an online platform for special packages for family and friends. These packages will include different types of accommodation, transportation, entertainment, restaurants, and special assistance during the event. The link to the platform will be communicated in the Bulletin
There will be an accreditation registration fee of 150€ per person to access the venue. This fee will be paid through the ISF registration system ERAS
PACKAGES FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Each participating delegation must check whether a visa is needed to enter Kenya. To consult the visa application procedure, please contact the related Embassy or Consulate. More information can be found by following the next link:
INSURANCE
Each participating delegation is required to provide insurance for each member of its delegation. At a minimum, the insurance is to cover civil liability, material damage, and medical costs.
